WOMEN’S RETREAT RECAP
FEBRUARY 7-8

In February, we held our Women’s Retreat, and it was truly a time of transformation, renewal, and deep encounters with the Lord. From the very beginning, it was clear that God had something special in store. His presence was felt in every session, every conversation, and every moment of worship.

Our theme for the retreat was Refuge, and throughout the weekend we were reminded that God is not only our shelter in times of trouble, but also our greenhouse—a place where we are nurtured, grown, and cultivated. He is the one we run to in both our hardest moments and our greatest joys.

We were honored to have Ann Hammock with us as our main speaker. She spoke with wisdom and clarity on timely topics like identity and surrender, helping the women see their true identity in Jesus—not in the lies they may have believed, not in their past, and not in what the world says about them. Her messages were filled with truth, encouragement, and a clear call to trust and surrender every part of our lives to God.

In addition to Ann’s teaching, we also had the privilege of hearing from a panel that included Pastor Jamé, Sheralyn, Kyra, and Ann. Together, they brought unique and heartfelt perspectives on what it looks like to live a fully surrendered life. Their vulnerability, wisdom, and stories spoke to the hearts of those listening, encouraging us all to press in closer to Jesus and trust Him in every season.

The retreat was filled with powerful moments of worship where the presence of God was tangible. Women were drawn into deeper intimacy with Him, and many experienced healing, breakthrough, and renewed hope.

One of the most meaningful moments came during our activation. Each woman planted a seed to symbolize God’s Word being hidden in her heart. It was a visual and spiritual reminder that we are called to tend the soil of our lives—removing rocks and weeds, creating space for the truth of God to take root and grow. Just like a garden, our spiritual lives need intentional care and surrender so that God’s Word can flourish in and through us.

Overall, this retreat was more than just a getaway—it was a sacred encounter. We walked away refreshed, refocused, and reminded that our refuge is not found in circumstances, but in the unchanging love of our God.
